Chestnut Cove Mercantile is a primitive shoppe in an 1880s farmhouse, nestled between a tree-covered hill and a small stream. Stop in and take a look around the Olde Wood Shoppe, our on-site working museum. We have been collecting traditional woodworking hand tools for over 35 years and using them even longer, so feel free to watch them being used and ask questions about them. Before you leave, don't forget to stop in the mercantile and peruse the goods, from wooden furniture and signs made in the Olde Wood Shoppe, to old-fashioned nib pens and India ink, to aprons and trivets, to books for young and old written by members of our family.
Come say hello, we'd be happy to see you!
